June Green Home Tour - One again, Build it Green is sponsoring a tour of innovative homes using green building techniques and materials. These tours are a great chance get ideas and to talk with builders and home owners about how green building is working for them in the real world. When you buy your tickets, you're given a tour book with directions to all the tour homes and a detailed write-up of each. This next tour is in the East Bay, Sunday June 1, 10AM to 5 PM. Kevin on the Radio - Our very own Kevin Beck, head of RENU (Green building contracting and consulting) and a key player in our Green Building effort, now has his own radio show! He's on every Saturday, 3:00 to 3:30PM on Green 960 Talk Radio, 960 AM. Kevin will be helping Bay Area homeowners solve problems around their homes as they relate to health, comfort, and energy efficiency. Give Kevin a listen and be sure to let the folks at Green 960 know that you support programming on sustainability issues.

San Rafael City Council Meetings - We will send out a special notice to SSR members any time we know an issue of particular interest is going to be addressed. However, every meeting is interesting, and most city government actions have some kind of connection to sustainability. They are usually held the first and third Monday of each month. The exact meeting schedule is available HERE. The agenda for each meeting is posted the Friday before at the same site.
